Go

15 And he said unto them, Go ye a therefore, b into all the world, and preach the gospel to the whole creation. a and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them into the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit

Go, do not wait for them to come to you. Go to the sick and the diseased world; take the message to them.

Does “all the nations” mean that every person will be made into a disciple? Or someone from each nation? Can we baptize a nation? Perhaps this is the source of the State Religion idea, where if you live in Germany then you are Lutheran, and if you live in Spain you are Catholic, and so on. But I don’t think that works because disciples are people, therefore “nations” must just be a substitute for a group of people.
